This highly versatile Gigabit device functions as either a cost-effective Passive PoE Injector or a PoE Splitter. When used as an injector, it seamlessly inserts DC voltage onto the active data pairs of your Ethernet cable. It is uniquely designed with dual DC inputs (Mode A and Mode B) and comes with a bonus Y-cable. By combining both power inputs, it can deliver a massive 60W of total power, making it fully capable of powering demanding 802.3af/at devices.
It is an excellent, low-cost solution for adding PoE capabilities to standard non-PoE network switches (such as standard MikroTik rack switches). It perfectly powers high-draw equipment like Dahua IP security cameras, VoIP phones, and long-range wireless access points without requiring an expensive PoE+ switch upgrade. Built-in dual 650mA resettable fuses ensure your equipment remains safe from power surges. (Note: A DC power supply is sold separately and is required for operation).
